WELCOME TO HERITAGE CRUISE
The Heritage Explorer Ocean Cruise is a specially designed program for adventurous and explorative guests.
You can hike along the trails, kayak through the waters, and visit floating fishing villages and farms, as well as discover secluded beaches, lagoons, small bays, and caves.
The experiences on the Heritage Cruise are entirely personalized. We believe this journey offers a truly comfortable and unique experience with enticing cuisine, friendly staff, a diverse itinerary with various optional activities, attentive service that pays attention to every detail, elegance, sophistication, and, of course, safety assurance.
DAY 1: HA NOI – TUAN CHAU – HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY/CAT BA ARCHIPELAGO
- 9:00-9:30: Pick up guests at the hotel and travel on the expressway to Tuan Chau International Passenger Port in Halong City (if transportation service is booked).
- 12:00: Welcome guests to the Heritage Cruises Lounge at Lot 28 in Tuan Chau International Passenger Port. The receptionist will assist guests with check-in procedures before boarding the ship.
- 12:30: Guests will board a high-speed boat to transfer to the Heritage Cruise and explore the Cat Ba Archipelago. Our captain will welcome you with a welcome tea, and you will receive safety instructions on the boat before checking into your rooms.
Staff Heritage Cruise Halong Bay - 13:15: Enjoy a buffet lunch at L’Indochine restaurant on the 3rd floor while admiring the breathtaking scenery created by the countless limestone mountains in Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Archipelago.
- 16:00: The cruise ship approaches Ba Trai Dao Beach (or Tra Bau area) in Lan Ha Bay, an area considered the natural border between Halong City and Hai Phong. This hidden sea area features stunning coastlines, caves, and mountain gorges intertwined with the beauty of over 400 islands. Guests can kayak or take a speedboat to explore and swim in the clean waters of the bay.
Ba Trai Dao - (Guests are advised to wear swimwear, bring hats, and apply sunscreen if it’s sunny.)
- 17:00: Return to the ship, and guests are free to relax in the common areas or their rooms, enjoying the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
- 17:15: Guests can enjoy an afternoon tea and participate in a Vietnamese cooking class at the 3rd-floor restaurant.
- 19:30: Dinner with local cuisine in the elegant and romantic Le Tonkin restaurant on the 1st floor.
- 21:30: Enjoy the nighttime scenery of the bay at the bar counter or on the sundeck, or guests can try squid fishing.
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY- VIET HAI VILLAGE- LAN HA BAY
- 06:15: Practice Vovinam on the boat while enjoying tea or coffee.
- 09:00: Transfer to a high-speed boat to visit Viet Hai Village. Take a bike ride through a tropical forest tunnel to reach the rice fields and visit a traditional house in a village nestled deep within the National Park, where you can observe the daily life of the locals. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Viet Hai Village and return to the Heritage Cruise to continue exploring Lan Ha Bay.
- 13:30: In Lan Ha Bay, guests can swim, kayak, or explore a cave through a trail in the Ba Trai Dao area (weather permitting), or swim, kayak in the Tra Bau area.
- 15:30: Return to the Heritage Cruise and enjoy a cocktail or simply a beer or a glass of red wine as the sky changes colors.
- 17:30: Guests are free to relax in the common areas or their rooms with a cocktail, enjoying the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin, or participate in a traditional cooking class.
- 19:30: Dinner at the Le Tonkin restaurant on the Heritage Cruise.
Guest Heritage Cruise Halong Bay - 21:30: Enjoy the nighttime scenery of the bay at the bar counter or on the sundeck, or try squid fishing.
DAY 3: LAN HA BAY- TUAN CHAU INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER PORT- HA NOI
- 06:00: Witness the beautiful sunrise over the bay and practice Vovinam on the boat.
- 06:30: Enjoy breakfast at L’Indochine restaurant.
- 06:50: Continue the journey to visit the Dark and Bright Cave by bamboo boat.
- 08:00: Return to the Heritage Cruise.
- 09:00 – 09:15: Check-out at the reception desk on the 1st floor.
- 09:30: Enjoy a light lunch at L’Indochine restaurant on the 3rd floor while the boat returns to the pier.
- 11:00: Heritage Cruise returns to Tuan Chau International Passenger Port, marking the end of the journey.
- 12:10: Guests can relax in our waiting area while waiting for transportation back to Hanoi. Farewell and hope to see you again!
- 14:30: The vehicle will drop off guests at their hotel in Hanoi if transportation service is booked with Heritage Cruise.
