8 Tourist destinations in Cao Bang you must visit once
1. Ma Phuc Pass
Ma Phuc is the most beautiful pass in Cao Bang province and is a check-in location in Cao Bang that makes travel enthusiasts amazed by the majesty of nature. The pass is located in Tra Linh district and is about 3.5 km long and 700 m high (above sea level). As the name suggests, Ma Phuc pass “crosses” the limestone mountain and the valley, creating an image similar to a horse.

Ban Gioc Waterfall is about 100km from the center of Cao Bang, so you can get here by bus or motorbike. The best time to come here is August – November. August – September is the end of the rainy season in Cao Bang, so the water in the waterfall is abundant and extremely clear. Meanwhile, October is the season of ripe rice and November is when wild sunflowers bloom here.
3. Thang Hen Lake
Also located in Tra Linh district, Thang Hen lake is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Cao Bang . The lake is part of a complex of 36 natural lakes located at an altitude of nearly 1,700m and connected through an underground cave system.
